Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Time travel, is it possible?
If so has it happened?
If not how do you know?
If ever possible would us as humans ever try it fearing the butterfly effect?

I think cloning could be integrated into time travel or teleportation. Honestly even if it will be possible it will just be illegal same as cloning.

Let's say time travel gets invented. Wouldn't it be logical to assume that some time travelers have traveled back to the present day? If so, wouldn't they be living among us right now?
That's the point of this topic, if it was possible it would be a paradox so would it ever exist? What happens if hypothetically it is possible and you go back in time to murder your past sefl... what happens.

To invent time travel, the computer (I assume it would be something from technology) would need to transfer every single body cell correctly to the past. This means that the computer would need to be smarter than any and all human beings and know things not known to man. However wouldn't it be impossible to create such a computer in the first place? You are creating something too smart for you to create...
Say if it is done through means other than technology such as discovery of a star in the universe that has unknown natural causes for such a thing to occur. And let's say you somehow magically manage to get back to Earth. Then let's suppose you kill yourself and magically go back to your time in the future, then yes, a paradox would be created. However, I don't believe in magic such as this and I find it merely impossible.
Then again I would need to do further research into the topic to have a better answer. This is a simple answer that I came up with in a matter of a few minutes.

Another question, does time even exist? What is time?

What is time?
i genuinely can't tell if you're being serious right now

Could be going all philosophical on you.
My opinion: No, traveling back and forth in time in one universe isn't possible because of several paradoxes that would result (see: grandfather paradox, bootstrap paradox).
However, if the multiverse hypothesis is true, it might be possible to travel from our universe to another identical universe at some point in its past or future, which in every practical sense would be time travel.

time is something manmade. humans tell time

you both die instantly,
only past you dies somehow and you become the alpha you on the timeline,
and/or anything and everyone past you has interacted with will be so that they were as before you met them, probably forcibly

I believe that time travel causes a multiverse to be created
I made a diagram

We are already traveling through time.
It seems to me that time is simply another dimension. So here's a thought. If I were to go back in time, would anything still be there? Cause like, everything that used to be in the past is now in the present. imagine I have a pile of junk. If I take that pile of junk and move it across the room, when I go back to where that junk was, nothing would be there. Idk if it works the same for time, but it makes sense.
^ Time is a dimension, yeah.
So then the question becomes, can you have negative dimensions? -4 meters? It makes no sense.
Going backwards in time makes an equal amount of sense: none. I think that we obsess about it because it's so easy to imagine. After all, that's what memory is.
If we didn't have long-term memory then time travel would be seen for what it really is. Nonsense.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

butterfly effect? i think you are talking about chaos theory, there is no butterfly effect
The butterfly effect is the example if you kill a butterfly in the past who knows what that will change in the future, i've only heard it called the butterfly effect, i'm not sure.
Another theory on time is that it's a thing that just creates more instances of the world. New ones each time. The moments in the past are still there and we have just moved to another frame. The future frames won't be changed because they are already made but you just go back to the old ones.

well it's a pretty weak "controversial topic"
It was just a start, make another one. This whole post is about controversial topics

The real thing I'm confused about is how ere moving...
Think about it, in one instant we aren't moving.
But everything is an instant. If we aren't moving in one instant.
How are we moving in the other.
what about them
this topic is for listing controversial topics, right
yeah, it was a question like what do you find controversial about them?
