Aww man I had a PS2 (and still have, actually), I played almost every top-tier game there was like GoW or MGS, but Shadow of the Colossus was one of the games that I couldn't progress no matter how much I tried.
Don't laugh, but I can't get past the 1st colossus for some reason. I've looked up tons of strategy guides and know exactly how to beat it, but no matter how hard I tried, I simply couldn't do it. Perhaps it's because I'm not used to the very slow-paced controls or something, but anyway I ended up giving the disk to a friend.
The visuals are amazing though, and I'm not talking about the most hi-res graphics, but about plain immersion. Even from the little bit I could play.

Well go on the back of its bottom leg and stab the red crack or whatever it is with your sword, and then it will like go down on its knee. Then climb up on its knee... and get on its back... and jump on its head and keep stabbing it! xD
