Hallowe'en

As a Brit Hallowe'en means nothing to me, it's just another day and it doesn't affect me other than if I were to watch American TV programmes then it would be Halowe'en related.

What's the big deal about it? If you celebrate it - why do you?

Traditionally Halloween was a pagan holiday celebrated to ward off the evil spirits. Also, people used to carve turnips instead of pumpkins which were carved with scary faced to protect each persons house. Though, I personally just like dressing up because it's fun. I don't go trick or treating anymore, but when I'm home I like to hand out candy for the kids. I love playing Halloween music and having a good time

I don't really celebrate Halloween anymore besides staying home and handing out candy to the 2 families that come down our street.

In Supernatural Halloween is made by a possessed guy who had a strong demon in him. He wanted people to pray to him so he had them wear spiritual and demonic costumes. Then in those costumes they would bow down and pray to the possessed guy.

That's why I don't like Halloween

The only realy significance Halloween has to me is that there'll be like 2 or 3 kids that will knock at my door. It's great because I can tell them to bugger off. Or give them an apple or something lame.

Expecting Sound of Silence to release a demo around Halloween. Otherwise I don't celebrate it and I had never gone trick or treating. I don't celebrate Christmas either.

I don't think most people who celebrate Halloween even know the reason behind it.   It's just a day to have fun to most.

1. Supernatural is a live action television show. It doesn't take two seconds to google it.
2. Halloween can be safe and fun. In America, though it used to be a religious holiday, it has become more of a capitalistic holiday, but that doesn't mean it can't also be enjoyable. I love to see how people decorate their houses, and I love to give candy to happy children dressed in silly costumes. It's just a good night to have be happy, and enjoy being scared.

on hallwoen i just go to my friend's hoise and we make popcorn bals and mummy dogs, then we eatch movie

last year we watched teen witch and it was the worst movie we laughed so har

estonia doesnt have halloween
but we have 2 similiar days where kids dress up as peasants and go sing and tell riddles n crap to get sweets
at one day you gotta dress up as a boy and other as a girl
they are like a week apart or so
