Question is: How are you, jawapa, or any other guardian to fix spam issues and crashing?

The admins don't visit the forums, the guardians will be able to act upon reports on the forum - and they do actually play so they can catch spammers, mainly act upon /reportabuse's though I'm guessing

Trolling?? Seriously, when I give /edit to someone it is my "responsability" and live with it when this user trolls my map. There is not need for some wanna-be-god jerk to step in at this point.
Neither do I need someone to cut down a critical discussion on my rooms chat - just because Mr IDDQD and Mr IDKFA feel like they have to BFG9000 the demon out of my world.

I care for my map and the people who play it - not some 6 years old.

Its a pity that the chosen guardians did not even read their own introduction - which disqualifies you for sure.

@Helvi - We read our instructions. We were sent emails with a brief outline of what we are to do. Nothing in the emails had anything to do trolling.

A more detailed list on the rules we will have, should be posted in the next few days.

Oh I know I will be watched, sadly I see people creating lies out of it though. Shouldn't be worrying since I don't expect to do anything wrong.

totally agree with helvi. also i can handle myself harassment and almost everything else through a simple /kick. i only lose control when /kick doesn't work anymore. when thousands of random created bots join, just because it is too hard to add a capatcha and a email verification.

i don't need guardians. i need to be able to give static ranks for people i trust in my worlds. i need to be able to kick/ban a ip-adress.

and that's it. guardians are only needed if a random dalek decides to mess with ee as such. like lock-bombing levels or crashing worlds. but for NOTHING else. NOTHING. but well. who cares about my opinion. OWNERS OF EE.
EDIT: okay, maybe i was wrong with nobody cares.. thanks for that promise shoe. i hope you do what you said.

When I pay like 50 euros on the game and get banned cuz some 6 years old rages in his zeal ? What then? I understand it as my privilege to play when I pay money for it.

Please allow me a question: You are lurking in my room and I say "crap" or maybe "you suck". Does this justify an immediate ban? What will happen then? Shall I contact my bank to revert the money transfer before I contact mshoe - asking for you to be removed as your account is less valuable than my account? Just speaking of the money I spend .. and you spend on the game. Do you? I guess not. 50 Euros is a few hours of working. And for you?

Let me give you another example: I really like Meredith for keeping this forum alive. I donated money and will do anytime again to help you. It is my honest opinion that Meredith deserves my fulliest assistance with the forum.
But what MrShoe and EE? Shoe did not ever reply on any email I have sent him for 2 years nor did he approved my blog posts. Why? Because he sucks hard. He knows it, he is aware of the people who "dislike" him. He even told me ingame when I had the chance to ask him.
Sure, feel free to prove yourself. Act as a liason. I will freely tell you about my concerns and demand you to forward them. Will you? However, I do not have a very high opinion on you guardians with the exception of Koto.

@Helvi - I personally will not ride people for cussing. Unless you are harassing someone while doing it, nothing will happen. And even at that point I will tell whoever you are harassing to use /mute, if you were to continue to harass others, then it would be up for discussion if you are to be banned.

With that said, it was your choice to spend money on the game. You were not obligated to do so.

I understand you feel the need to help EE, I don't blame you, but EE is a minority to the other projects they have. Me buying stuff is not going to put EE in any better shape.

@Creature & Helvi & whoever else - Got done talking a little bit ago, updates are coming. Guardians are going to be implemented first, then block packs will be put in. Just gotta wade through the next few weeks.

@Creature - I am doing my part. With Shoe not needing to do as much on the game, money can be saved up to eventually do something. Every time he does something, money is spent. Guardians are not getting paid, so they are saving money.

Your plan was to add an IP ban. The guardians are a short term fix for that, until there is enough money brought in for EE to be worth working on.

We get more silly blocks? How about lowering the shop prices for both, energy and real money? What drives people away? The lack of progression ... having to wait weeks for a freaking great map etc.
