Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The Language Topic

Although English is the predominant language of the forums, the EE community spans every hemisphere with users from dozens, if not hundreds, of countries. There are myriad languages spoken throughout the forum community, and I thought it would be eye-opening to see the extent of the forum's lingual diversity.

Below is a list of the languages that the forumers speak. To add yourself to this list, reply with the languages you speak, along with how well you speak them (fluently, decently, just learning, etc.). Please specify which language is your native language. If the level at which you speak a language changes, you may post here to update your status on that language.

Even if you only speak one language (for example, if you only speak English), you are still allowed to be on the list!

Re: The Language Topic

Russian: Native Language, spoke it throughout a huge portion of my childhood (8 years) [6 years if you don't count me not speaking when I was too young to speak]. Can still speak it fluently and am doing so with my current Russian friends I have in New Zealand.
English: Fluent Speaker, finishing college with it. (High School in America).

If you can't figure out where I'm at with English, go home.

Re: The Language Topic

I am learning to speak more Spanish (though I know enough of it already to say that I am O.K. at it), and English is my native language (which I speak fluently).
BTW I regret not being active to see the language topics in their greatness.

Portuguese - Native, Fluent
English - I really don't know how well I can speak it as while online or written I don't have any trouble with it, but when speaking it in real life I have difficulty with the pronounciation. Sometimes I even stutter. Anyway, maybe somewhere between Great and Good-Decent?

What do you mean by Chinese? Chinese isn't a language necessarily. Mandarin? Cantonese? Shanghainese? Let me know so I can add that to the list.

I'm not going to include the different dialects of English, sorry //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

So, I'm assuming this is your native language? I'm listing it as so, feel free to correct me otherwise.
Also, why did you post twice?

Are either of these your native language? I wanna guess English, but you never know. I'm gonna take a gamble and list it as English. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Liar. I'm putting you as fluent, and it as your native language.

OKAY. Updated up to this point. Also added translations of English language names into the corresponding languages. (Such as "FRENCH / FRANÇAIS"), so if I've messed any of these translations up, let me know. Also, if I have made any mistakes in general, let me know.
