Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Fugitive

So there's this thing that happens at my highschool almost every year, it's called fugitive, pretty much all the Freshman and Sophmores start at one elementary school, they run about 3 or so miles to the highschool, but while they are running, all the Juniors and Seniors are in cars and they chase after the lowerclass and kidnap them or shoot them with paintball guns or throw eggs at them, pretty much the whole goal is to get from once place to another. Lots of kids would be hoping fences and running through yards. We had to stop because last year someone got hit by a car but i was wondering if anyone else had this at their schools.

Re: Fugitive

It is very dangerous and is banned, cops come out every year when we plan it and make many arrests for trespassing, but almost 1,000 kids participate so it's hard to stop.

Re: Fugitive

Man that sounds really fun (edit: probably not a good idea, but it still sounds fun)

My school is really strict so this would never fly (although the administration is severely lacking so I doubt they could do anything to stop it). They   try to ban everything and enforce anything, and yet we still have the highest drug usage/pregnancy rate/dropout rate in the area.

I don't think school uniform has buttons.

Re: Fugitive

I wonder how that is a recurring event, you'd think the stupid kids that participate would end up dead before they could do it the next year.

The shirt is probably a polo which has buttons near the top.

I could honestly see this run happening in many high schools honestly, not because it's a good idea, just because high schoolers don't make the best decisions. The only thing that was happening at our school was people throwing rocks off the building aiming at new cars in a car lot...lets just say they had to pay a pretty huge fine for that one, and almost got expelled.

Re: Fugitive

What is wrong with your schools? Maybe there's something wrong with my school but here we do what we want as long as we don't have our hoods up or our phones out in the hall. Once you're in a classroom you can do whatever. Most people choose to do the work. Sometimes.

Well with hundreds of kids participating and only 1 death over the last few years you'd imagine that the event is very well organised in order to work. Must be very difficult to organise but I still don't like the fact that the kids run through private property in order to get away from the cars.
