Problem logging in with Facebook

This is a problem I've had for a while.   Although it hasn't really bothered me to much because up to this point, it seems all I was missing out on what the extra smileys.   But now with the release of Beta and the idea of further available content being released to logged in users, also no public mention of future alternatives to FB login, I thought I might mention this.

Whenever I try to log in with FB, all I get is this:

Just the spinny thing, and it just sits that way indefinitely.   Sometimes it freezes.   I'm not convinced that the problem comes from Chris' end, but on the off chance that it does, I thought I'd bring it up.

I have no problems logging into my account on the Facebook website, and this problem has been persistent.

Looks strange, try quitting your browser and logging in again.

Can you Facebook connect with other sites, like Gawker blogs?
