Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

That's not at all how that would work.

Imagine the popular maps with trolls everywhere, or just minor things such as changing FV (Forgotten Veil), DD (Death Dominion) in term of minis, imagine.. And the fact that they can do that isn't good, because there's 4 guardians and we don't know who did it.

This is the silliest thing I've heard through all of this.

Silliest? Sorry to say that but it'll happen, whereas you being guardian won't happen#

Re: EE Guardian

Do you honestly believe that the people chosen would do something like that? I see that several people don't like JaWapa but it looks like he does actually want to help, so he wouldn't abuse his powers. If a guardian was picked at random from the active community, there's a higher chance that it will be someone who will try to help ratehr than someone who aims to troll. Anyway I'm pretty sure editing or clearsaving worlds is only if the world has inappropriate content, so they can't do it as a punishment if someone is breaking the rules.

EDIT: 2222nd post!

On this planet are more “good people” than people on prison. So who will get your attention more?
With so many “good people” looking at this Guardians will may found comportment mistakes because humans make mistakes and they will say in chorus “I never make this and I never will. I deserve to be a Guardian!”
Let’s go outside the EE… There exist thief witch are send by policeman to prison and “good people” are do they normal jobs. In this real world why not everybody wants to became policeman? Policeman got power and uniform.
I have two solutions:
1. We will send emails about who should be banned instead of be guardian.
2. Guardians enrolled only if they are policeman in real word. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Policemans are different, in the real life we can't mute or kick someone, and they can murder us or do other thing, policemans prevent it. In the ee, nobody can murder or something, but we can mute or kick, this is why guardians are useless.

I didn't say everyone. How well do you know the community? Think back when MrShoe used to open a level to showcase an update, and how people treated him when they were in the same level as him. Not much criticism except behind his back. It's not the best example but my point is people will try to please mods the best they can. They won't do things to upset them. Especially the people who were chosen.

Another point is, you say that they will do it for the popularity, perks - glow and username colour, but if that's the case won't they be afraid to lose that privilege?

The point in worrying is to prevent permanent damage, which people have stressed about clearsave or whatever. People have also brought up the option of not allowing that, or maybe some way to make that not permanent. As long as there is no ability of the guardians to do permanent damage, there should be no worry over who is hired. If it is decided that the person is not good as a guardian, they can then be removed without any permanent damage having been done.

Yeah but what if all the staff are on holiday for whatever reason and they wont be able to remove guardians as a few weeks ago I think they were on 'holiday' for almost a year no updates, seems like they forgot about EE they could with unbanning people or removing guardians too

I heard from Bass and NVD that all the money raised on EE2 from people buying things, was donated to EE. This might possibly have something to do with them being chosen.

Apparently they were also donating to a charity called 'Childsplay' not sure what side I'm buying also someone who was 'Staff' of ee2 (I'm not saying there name for security etc reasons) said they werent donating to childsplay so maybe to ee still not sure though

It's not our job to Police EE.   That is a misinterpretation of our duties.

Guardians still useless, why can't we just /mute or /kick without a guardian doing it for us?

Also, just because everybody is in a map, doesn't mean that the room owner even plays the game anymore.   What about those?

Re: EE Guardian

Why do we need guardians? There's not enough chaos to really have to form a whole new team of moderators in my opinion, and even if there was, this will only create even more chaos.

I agree with ZELDAXD and 0176.

"Our job is too moderate EE" No, people are big enough to do it themself.

Edit: Chaos? Do you see chaos on EE at the moment?

You just want to be guardian to have a stupid purple name glow.

It's so funny see Jawapa and Kingoftheozone trying to find a reason to guardians be useful, because they want to be guardians. Why can't we have /disallow <class> command instead guardians?

IMO the game needs features to prevent this rather then humans.

However I still think a refined guardian system would still be needed for that human touch.

As fdoou said, this is a short term solution. It is free for them add humans to fix the problem.
