Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?
You are not logged in.

1) Go to everybodyedits.com
2) Lobby loads, can play game normally when not logged in
3) I click the facebook link and log in
4) EE hangs on the splash screen.
Edit:
5) Eventually I get dropped back into the lobby, not signed in.
Updates:
Still can't sign in, 3 hrs later
Still can't sign in, 7 hrs later

New info:
I ran Firebug to see what I was getting stuck on: POST 27.
The post data is:

The response I receive is:
SYou are unable to create room because there is already a room with the specified id
UPDATE:
I found a really backwards workaround where I can get into a room while logged in if I use a URL to go directly to that room, like so:
http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWAFQRyb96a0I
My real problem seems to be lack of Lobby access; not lack of logging in altogether.

Same thing is happening on Kongregate for some members, as i've stated in my post. Refreshing won't help, restarting the computer won't help.. Changing browsers won't help :/
Edit: I got to play once yesterday for 30 minutes, couldn't log on for the rest of the day.

I can't play Everybody edits.
Is this happening to more people?
EDIT: It works now

Nope. Facebook access hasn't worked for 24 hours for me now.
@Hammyobob See if my workaround works... it might help determine if our problems are related.
@Jakery: Workaround works fine, I may try clearing the cache and if that doesn't work, I may go to the EE folder in program files and try deleting that.
Update:
The plot thickens. I can perform my Facebook login at my work computer. Of course, if I play at work I get fired. But at least I can spend some energy now.
I wonder if there is some kind of sign-on conflict between my work computer and my home computer?
The issue has resurfaced this morning. Same symptoms. Same workaround works (direct level access, but not lobby access).
And before you ask, Different55, I'm using Opera right now.
I'm having the same problem, when I try to login it just gets stuck on the EE title screen.
EDIT: nix that, had the page sitting there and I guess it finally loaded a few minutes later. I'm logged in.

Not me. I'm still getting nothing.

Hadn't even thought about it 'til you mentioned it. I don't know what it's called, but there's a folder in C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME HERE\Application Data\ called Macromedia (obvious what it is and where it comes from, but I don't know what you would refer to it as) If you delete it it seems to fix many problems. If that seems extreme, go inside that folder and delete every folder with the name of a website possibly related to EE. Like nonoba.com www.nonoba.com everybodyedits.com and folders like that. Delete all of those and see if it works then.

I'm on a mac. I'll try it on my wife's PC.
If that doesn't work, I'm more concerned about the response I get from the POST 27 request, which is the last message before the game freezes on the splash screen:
SYou are unable to create room because there is already a room with the specified id
Very bizarre message when I am trying to load the lobby, and not create a room. Of course, unless I look at POST 27 under working conditions, I don't know if this message is normal or not.
----
Edit:
My wife's laptop has Windows 7, so many of the directories in that path don't exist. The closest I could find was
C:\Users\[my account]\AppData
And there's no "Macromedia" folder in there.

Is there any information on a remedy to this issue? I'm going on 36 hours without lobby or beta level access.
It's been over two days since I was able to log in with my Facebook account. I've tried my mac, my wife's PC, and my PC at work. Unless it's some amazing fluke that affects all three computers, I'm convinced that the problem is server-side.
...and I'd really like to spend some energy and get to my beta world.
Try a new browser.
Try a new browser.
:/ I've tried chrome, IE, firefox on all three systems, and safari and opera on my mac. That's all five top browsers. I've tried deleting stored flash data. I've tried reinstalling flash. At this point it's much more likely that there's a problem with my account, or with facebook sign-in, on the server. I have no control over this.
60 hours without ability to log in. Is there no other way I can log in? What do I do?
I'm having the same problem. Can't log in via any browser, and the problem persists both on PCs (I've tried three) and a Mac. Haven't been able to log in for days, which is ridiculous, considering I paid for beta access (and chat, but that's the least of my worries) but can't use it.
And yes, my browsers and Flash are fully updated.
It's fixed! Woo! myffers, how's yours?
