Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

hii all!
i dont know if this is a bug but after 2-3 hours the room dissolve!!?
thats BAAAM! IN THE FACE!
i only want to know...is that normal?
That's happened to me before, I think it's probably a bug. Definitely not intentional.
it's very embarrassing when you make 4h to build your room
I'm sorry this is happening!
If you have read the newsletter, Chris mentioned that he is working on a solution to keep popular levels open.
Yes, I've lost the same level over four times to the room being booted. I really hope this gets fixed soon!
ok!
thx for the replys ;D
Direct quote from the Everybody Edits Newsletter:
* What we are working on?
If worlds you created lived longer the experience would be much
better for everybody. Therefore our focus and goal is to ensure
that levels exist for at-least three days if there are more
than one person playing them.
A way to track popular rooms and avoid those being deleted is definitely something that should be done.
Sometimes it's annoying that a really good room has been lost.
What's even worse is when you get kicked out of your own levels as you're making them.
Oh that is even worse.
Usually I can rejoin right away, but sometimes the level's just plain gone.
I wonder what's the root of the problem. Lost packets? Unstable connection? Or it's just server side?
Most likely the third option there. Losing packets would mean that things clientside (or serverside) don't update as they should. Unstable connection will definitely kick you out, but I don't think it would also kick out all of your users.
I just got kicked, and I was a third of the way into "Minigames THE BEST". It sucks.
Very sorry to hear that!
From what I got to see, it's a pretty good level. Like 6,000 people have played it.
Yeah, I've gotten close to the end before being kicked.
Getting kicked is just annoying.
@Cyclone: A lost packet or ping timeout would kick yourself, yes, but if you're the owner, and there are no other editors, it will kick everyone in the room, or I am wrong? Basically, how is the 'keep level' defined? 1. one or more editors are in or 2. one or more players (not editors) are in?
2 is correct.
An idea: Add a voting system "Vote to keep this level". Once lots of votes have been made, the level will be kept for like 1 month or two and then a vote will start again. So that we could keep those fun levels forever
Whatever, E-Edits is on beta (Since some months ) and not all bugs are fixed
It's sad when you finally managed to get your level popular, but then everyone gets kicked out. Do any of you know exactly why?
It's not a good idea to gravedig topics. It's been over 6 months since this was last posted in. Make another topic. Thank you, and here's a little something for your troubles. *gives warning*
