Can we just put all the hatred to an end already? I can't believe this is still going on. Stop talking crap about JaWapa, NVD, and Ultrabass. Sure you might not know them that well, I get that. I don't know them that well either, but the fact that I hardly know them doesn't change who they are. From what I've seen of them, all three, as I have said in a previous comment, seem to be really enjoyable people to be around. I feel as if they will do their job well. It sickens me to see that none of you have any faith in your fellow players. After spending at least 3 years together, you would think that we would all be at least somewhat decent friends by now.

Nvd, Jawapa and ultrabass has everything except those 2 factors

Processor, firstly, does not type like that. Secondly, I don't think he used Photoshop for his website at all. Thirdly, he liked your website design but wanted something more simple, I believe.

I just wanted to clear that up because Processor is a very good friend of mine and I don't want his name thrown under the bus.

Yeah, he didn't say anything to me about it. Seems he got his current design from MFL and MFL thought I claimed it.

You can't get experience as a guardian, until you are a guardian. This is why I am saying to give them a chance. They will get the experience that they need, and if they do happen to abuse it, they know the consequences. Also, all four seem mature enough in my opinion. You don't have to have someone that is 100% mature without a trace of immaturity whatsoever, I don't even think people like that exist. Everyone has an immature side to them.
How about we just stop arguing about this until something actually happens. There is no point in worrying about something, if it probably won't even happen.

The point in worrying is to prevent permanent damage, which people have stressed about clearsave or whatever. People have also brought up the option of not allowing that, or maybe some way to make that not permanent. As long as there is no ability of the guardians to do permanent damage, there should be no worry over who is hired. If it is decided that the person is not good as a guardian, they can then be removed without any permanent damage having been done.

Except they haven't been around for the 3 (well 4) years and I just want to know the exact reasoning behind why they were chosen, it might shed some light - if it's because Bass and NVD made EE2, I will be annoyed; if it's because JaWaPa has been sucking up to the admins, I will be annoyed; I am curious as to why koto alone was chosen out of the acceptable group that could be guardians

I heard from Bass and NVD that all the money raised on EE2 from people buying things, was donated to EE. This might possibly have something to do with them being chosen. I don't know why JaWapa was chosen, other than the fact that he's been in contact with the admins for a long time now. Koto was probably picked because of the countless people sending MrShoe emails suggesting him.
Also - Does it really matter why they were chosen? That's between them and the admins. I don't think we really need to worry about why they were picked. I'm curious as to why you are annoyed, as I am not at all annoyed by this.
*edit* The 3 years was an estimate. I don't know the exact date that everyone joined EE. 2 years, 3 years, or 4 years, It's still a problem.

I wonder how much weight (if any) the community's dissension carries in determining how this Guardian dilemma plays out.

Ultrabass is benefiting by not being drug throw court for copyright charges.

-EverybodyEdits do not need moderation such as guardian. Mute command / Kick command exist.
If they don't kick them, then they probably have their reason.
-EverybodyEdits bots evolution is very fast. All type of bots has been made.

Guardians, why are they useless?
They can fly, and edit in any worlds they like.
Imagine the popular maps with trolls everywhere, or just minor things such as changing FV (Forgotten Veil), DD (Death Dominion) in term of minis, imagine.. And the fact that they can do that isn't good, because there's 4 guardians and we don't know who did it.
They can ban.
I'm opposed to this idea.
Example: A friend of someone is insulting him just a joke, and a guardian comes up and ban him 1 day.
This is litteraly a bad example, but you got the point.
Just let Everybody edits like it is, why do we need updates like this? Everybody wants package updates, not just mod update.

How to resolve spam bots problem? Have a command who mute Level 2 and under it.
