Portal glitch

OK, since portals are released for non-betas, I bought another portal(so that makes 2 because of the 1 portal that Chris accidentally gave to non-betas.). And I tried it at my SMALL saved world and it worked. But when I tried it on my MASSIVE saved world... IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL.

There are so many problems on what you just posted. Having portal on non-beta is not an accident. It was meant to be. And about your portal I think you put the numbers incorrect.

You should put the numbers of your portals this way:
Portal 1:
ID of this portal:0
ID of target portal:1
Portal 2:
ID of this portal:1
ID of target portal:0
That'll do the job...

No it wasn't. Chris was trying to tease the betas by giving only 1 portal to them instead of 2, but he accidentally gave one tyo every non-beta also.

You should put the numbers of your portals this way:
Portal 1:
ID of this portal:0
ID of target portal:1
Portal 2:
ID of this portal:1
ID of target portal:0
That'll do the job...

I tried:

ID of this portal: 1
ID of target portal: 1 and it worked.
I used at first
ID of this portal: 1
ID of target portal: 2

And it did'nt work. I'm in My Saved Great World.

no he didnt - he gave EVERY user 1 portal, to tease non-betas and to give betas a head start, it wasnt a bug- he even said! :/

my problem was not being able to put 2 portals in a massive saved world. no failing to make them work.

Chris through it would be fun to tease non-Beta players by giving everyone one portal to start out with. You can't do anything with it. It's just there.

Actually, that's a misconception that's going around these days. He wanted to tease betas only. Giving the regulars portals was unintentional and will be fixed as soon as he can.

Did the first portal work, but not the other one?

I was in my race area, then i put portal 1 at the end, then portal 2, going back to the beginning.
I really mean i can't understand using portals, i tried the Portal Tutorial and then it worked. I can't really describe it though.

And:

Whoa wait. Portal 2 will connect back to Portal 1!
(Unless you put it in a different way...)

Wow you are all wrong, he gave a portal to everyone because he knew the portals would eventually be out of beta test. This way you would not have to buy 2 portals just go get it working you only need to buy 1 portal.

AND STOP FOCUSING ON THAT ITTY BITTY MISTAKE. The real problem is what's most important.

My solution:
Go to your big world or whatever.

Portal 1:
ID: 1
Destination: 2

Portal 2:
ID: 2
Destination: 0.

Now go through the FIRST one. You should end up on the 2nd portal, hopefully...
