Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Negative Energy?

huh.png

So, earlier today on EE somebody posted in the Kongregate chat...

"i have -74 energy XD"

I didn't know what he was talking about, but when I got back on later, I saw I had -50 energy. When I attempt to spend it, it says I do not have enough energy, so this means it is less than zero like negative numbers usually are.

And unlike positive energy, every two minutes and thirty seconds it decreases presumably until it hits 0 which it then turns back to positive energy. How did it get like this, and is anyone else having this problem?

Discuss. (And no, this doesn't go into the bug forum because it acts like negative energy would if it was real, so this means they intentionally put it in.)

Anyways, that's weird.

Re: Negative Energy?

I have it, and I already made a topic in bugs, and it should go there.

Re: Negative Energy?

Again, I don't think it's a bug. The moderator gang had to have programmed it themself.

But, the one thing I'm wondering is, how do we get negative energy? If we can't get it by spending the energy we already have until we run out and it becomes negative, how does it become that?

Re: Negative Energy?

It's probably a glitch in the numbering system for energy.

Re: Negative Energy?

I was wondering about how it could work.

I had this awesome idea about server time change like daylight savings time
but the figure -114 threw that out the window.
((114 * 2.5) = 285 minutes, much more than 60 minutes)

So I don't know.

Re: Negative Energy?

If it keeps going more and more negative, then it's the number itself increasing by one, without it taking into consideration of the negative sign, as energy is not suppose to become negative, therefore it is a bug.

Re: Negative Energy?

Idk then lol.   It's a bug.   Maybe it'll go away eventually.   Maybe it happens from spending energy too quickly? Idk.

Re: Negative Energy?

Mine's just been bouncing everywhere, and this should REALLY be merged with the topic in bugs.

Re: Negative Energy?

At least mine seems to be counting upward.   I had about 60 energy and then back to lobby, somehow -52.   Weird.

Going up.   Hope I can get my original energy back, but losing out on 100 energy isn't that bothersome.   If this only happens for this one time, of course.

Re: Negative Energy?

I wouldn't worry too much about it Azure, my energy went back to normal after I closed and reopened the window.

Re: Negative Energy?

No it has to be positive, negative energy counts as zero.
