black blocks blocking my level's art!!!

The background visible on the minimap update is cool, but it spoils my level. I put a background in my level for the sky, and I wanted minis in the sky. when I put the black blocks, it ruins the WHOLE effect.

Background doesn't ruin it.

also wave is too flat, and background near lightning needs to shape the bolt.
