Did you click any buttons while your trying to join a level? It happens to me because pressing right while I'm trying to load level made me go to the right even if I'm not pressing it. :/
You may wanna report this bug to Chris. Easy way to resolve the problem is to reload the page. Another way is to restart your computer.
If that doesn't work, it's probably a problem with your computer/laptop keyboard. You may wanna contact the provider for some help with this.
