WTF EE is down, I have to choose a username!?

First: EE is down. But!, if i go to beta.everybodyedits.com, I have to choose a username. WTF?!

If Your Account Is Connected To Facebook, Just Go On Facebook.com And Play, Or Arceus 123 Said He Created A Name Then Logged Out And Logged Into His Original Account. Soo

Yea dont type in a random username.

My account was jaybm

then it said "type in a username" so i did, I typed Jaybm

Then it said that username is already taken. Then i just typed in something random: Pie9, and it changed my username to pie9.

it was temporary, and probably by mistake. I believe the profiles still exist of the usernames people put in.
