How come my avatar stretches instead of change?

When I went to go into my profile to change my avatar, after I uploaded a new one, it simply stretched my old one. Is this a forum bug?

This has happened to me before just go to change avatar change it to what ever then click submit.

First Step: Delete your avatar.
Second Step: Clear your cache.
Third Step: Upload your new avatar.

It worked for me.

Yeah, or simply press Ctrl+F5 instead of cache clearing, that reloads the page without using the cache.

I always press view image then refresh, then it changes.

Clear your cache and it will change.
