Only one level on

On the lobby, I see only one level ([woot] [Boss] (magic) and my own levels. I'm not able to join any other worlds either...

Server maintenance I can only presume. The server occasionally updates its games, with Everybody Edits being no exception.

True, but this just seems so...weird.

It's been one year since the last update.

Some may say it's for technical reasons that a year has passed, but this is false: there was a minor bugfix update inbetween.

It just seems so weird that a day like this would be the so-called "end."

I was on Kongregate one day, searching through the games. Little did I know how much this game would effect my life. I was known as Number1KirbyFan back then, playing the game with as much curiosity as a baby. I was very immature back then, so people hated me. I eventually learned, and came more experienced with the game. I grew up with the evolution of the game, with lots of drama such as KingGuestBot, or whatever all that was. Today, the levels have been crashing like mad. Only two levels have been surviving, and I am making this post in response to what has happened.

You probably know me as Number1KirbyFan. You probably thought of me as a very immature person back when I had that username, but I have learnt since then, and I have grown up. I compare this game to real life— there was a phase when I was just curious but immature, a phase when I started to grow up, a phase things were not working out, and finally, the last phase: death. Even if this is not the true death of this game, I will still really mean this when the game really does crash. I will be there to experience it, and it will not be a happy time.

****, today I thought of doing a backup of all my worlds to keep them forever in my PC, but I decided to leave it for later... if this is true and EE dies I'll cry for years because of that...

Ikr... Why are people so worried about EE "dying". This has happened SEVERAL times. Brian would not have updates the game a few weeks ago if he was going to let it "die".

This happens every so often and everyone is so quick to jump to "It's the game updating!".
It's like they never learn from previous server downtime.

I'm sure everyone here has seen an actual update take place. But if you haven't, the server sends a message
to every room that the game is updating and in a few minutes every room shows a message.
"The game has updated, please refresh your browser."

The server doesn't just go offline, and it never will with an update.
