Can't change email

I tried to change my email associated with my account (right now it's my friends email) to my email but it won't let me, saying that there is an error with the smpt server. Is it possible to change it?

This has happened for a while. Some how I got mine changed eventually... but I don't remember how. I guess just keep trying.
