We may not get any spambot's for a while, but something easier than deleting their posts.
What about post approval? Anyone with 3 posts or less needs approval from a mod/admin before users will see it. In the post, if it's any advertising links or a normal welcome topic, it will decide if they are spambot's or not.
Actually, we've had 8792 attempted spam posts, but those have been blocked.
