Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Only 4 lines of text, but a huge image is allowed?

Should be limited to 500x200 IMO.. There's no need for bigger than that.
Edit; I missed 13:37 with 4 seconds!
No really, change it to 500x200. Fits perfect on 1024x768 resolution..

About 0 monitors made nowadays have that resolution. x3
That being said, theres not really much we can do about preventing people from using long images, but please, report any of the person's posts(or pm a mod), and we'll take care of it.
<Aslai> If the bottom of a blank post extends past your user info, your sig is too big.
You can just deny images greater than a size?
Just like the 4 lines limit

Forums with more functionality than fluxbb can't do that, because the images aren't uploaded to the forum itself.
The best we could do would be auto resize plugins(that may or may not exist...), but that doesn't stop an image from being a huge load on someone's internet.
Aah I see.

This is pretty much completely wrong. Lots of forums do it, the php function "getimagesize" actually does exactly what's being asked, I think, plus there is another check for small file-size too. Both work externally.
I like the idea, some people have really obtrusive sigs :/
I can not agree with this more. I hate giant sigs.

Mind=blown. Curse my (very) limited knowledge of php.
With that said: I do support this idea if there's a plugin available, then.
We haven't had much problems with sigs, just a few minor things that were fixed easily. Typically it's obvious when a signature is too big.
yeah, but preventing is easier/more convenient
