i have seen a chatbox in some other forumify forums where you can chat with other ppl online. why cant we have that?

We had one earlier, but hardly anyone visited it, so we shut it down.

Well, the forums have grown and there are a lot more people now. If it doesn't work the second time we can always change it back and it might help cut down on some spam posts. Instead of posting "HEY CHEWY CHECK YOUR PMZ" in every topic you can just tell it to him in the forum chat.

As you can see, chat died after lack of activity and was discontinued.   We may begin again, however, if there is enough support for the idea and activity.

I think we can have chat mods as well as forum mods. That way if anyone gets annoying a mod can ban them temporarily.

something tells me we can expect a chatbos in the future. if we have mods on chatbox that arent forum mods i say we take pyromainic, takoman, and monstar.

I'm quite willing to give the chatbox a second chance.   With a much larger forum and much more activity than the first time, I think it may actually work out this time.

cool. i guess we could be able to chat more effictevly than spam topics with a chatroom. all we need now are the mods. i suggested a few above but i also think kaosslasher and chimi might work as mods also.
