Ok, I was messing around with chat scripts last night in mIRC. I downloaded a rock paper scissors bot, and when it didn't work, I decided to go and sleep since I had church meetings in the morning. Then I get back home and find that everything is screwed up. For some reason, after I afked the script started working. When I ran through it after downloading it I didn't see anything to worry about. But I missed a part that gave anyone who said "!register" half op. So everyone got hop and in that way I screwed the entire thing up and caused tons of work for cyclone.

Honestly, even though you feel bad about it, I thought it was a fun social experiment--giving everyone hops the first time they !register, and watching people beg and throw tantrums to get hops back after you kick them for spamming.

But that's just me, and I have a special sense of humor...

Everyone was whining about not having hops when I was on. I /kick'ed myself to prove that hops didn't matter, but once I logged back on, someone granted me hops again. I lol'd
