Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hypothetically, let's say I break a forum rule in a given thread, and then I never look at that thread again. A mod will post (in that thread) that I've received a warning, but will I know without returning to the thread? Will I see the warning displayed in a PM or in a special notice?
Juuuust curious.
I'd like to know this too. As far as I know, the only other way to find out if you have any warnings is to PM a mod or admin, but they might not be able to tell you why you got that warning. Checking every single new post you have made is just pointless.
We should have some page that shows you how many warnings you have, which post(s) you got them in, and why.
Obligatory piece of text placed here forcing you to load an extra 100 bytes of data per post I make.

We ourselves can't see why or where. Just how many.

Simple, the mods should just P.M. us instead after they have warned us on the topic. You know, if that's not too much of a problem.

:/ I wasn't suggesting this was a problem, I was just curious.
@SmittyW. If I did consider it a problem, I wouldn't suggest mods manually issuing warnings (inefficient & increases mods' workload); I would suggest a streamlined system, like auto-notifying the user when a warning is issued (assuming that warnings are officially issued and remembered within the forum database).
...but I won't be lobbying for such a change.
I don't care cause I'm a good boy 1fan1
Lol jk 1xd1
Well, I also wanted to know, but now I just know everything.

There are new warnings
The link for new warnings takes 'em to the post in which they were warned. If there are multiple, the link will remain after it is clicked, and take them to the next reported post.

Well there's my answer. Thanks.
Welcome. By the way, for future reference, in this forum the link hex code is 60A0DC. If you ever want something to look like a link, just do this.

Chimi, was that a suggestion or is that actually how it works.
If it was just a suggestion, the only way to figure out is to ask a bad kid or make another account and be bad.
We all know jakery has a dark side.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

That was a Suggestion.

How'd you read my mind?! I was just about to ask...

*sigh* Why are the mods taking so long to answer? Oh wait, nvm, they don't know either.
...why are the admins taking so long to answer?

To answer the OP: nope.
...what the heck is the OP?

Impossible. The warning system doesn't work that way right now. We don't click a button and they're warned. It's done from they're profile, not a specific post.

OP: Original post.
Exactly. howTF am I to know if I've ever broken a rule? Surely, you're not going to do a 'official warning check' thread, are you?
I hate tall signatures.

You could just PM any moderator, myself, Cyc, or RPG.

Well, I'm suggesting this so that a system can be devised where something similar to this could work. Maybe a series of input boxes, like this.
User
[______]
Post Link
[______]
Rule Broken
[______]
Message
[______]
and the moderators fill these in. The system will send the warning to %USER%, and the message will me something like this.
]You've broken the following rule: %RULE_BROKEN%, At this Location. %MESSAGE%
%THESE% are variables. thats the only way i know how to do them. (from cmd scripting :3)
That'd be a lot of work where we only had to type "Warnings: 1" into a box before.

About PMing mods, you wouldn't be PMing mods everyday to see if you have new warnings, right? I mean like, you go a random day and say "I'm gonna PM a mod to see if I have warnings cuz I'm bored *PMs*"
