The Official Rules Thread - TRANSLATED

For the people who are foreigner, here are the rules in different languages:
(I could really use some help, as I can only do it in Dutch)

English:

The Supreme List of Rules

Be Nice ? The Everybody Edits community is one composed of a variety of cultures, ages, languages, thoughts, and ideas. Please be respectful of your fellow players and don?t forget that there is a human on the other end of the keyboard.
Don?t Spam ? No one likes to read nonsense or repeated posts, please make sure to think before you press the ?submit? button.
Safety/Security ? EE hosts a wide variety of ages, from under 10 to over 50. We at EE hope to protect our members by reminding players to be aware that information posted on these forums is public, and we should never post any personal information about ourselves that could give someone an opportunity to find us in real life.

Specific Rules (because some of you prefer it this way):

1. Use common sense.
A. Don't ask to be an admin or mod on the forum or EE, you will be banned without warning. Asking how to be a mod is very obnoxious; one becomes a mod on the forum when the current staff finds they are useful and trustworthy, at a time that the forum needs a new moderator.
B. You should only have one account on these forums.
C. Don't give out personal information, this includes your specific location, surnames, date of birth, or passwords.

2. No flaming
A. This includes saying another should be banned, if someone is breaking the rules, report them.
B. This does not count negativity, if someone is stupid you don't have to ignore it. Negative criticism isn't necessarily flaming.
C. Ordering mods to close topics or requesting a sticky won't get you what you want, and could even result in warnings.
D. Use the report system! Seriously, it works great.

3. No spamming.
A. Keep of topic discussion to PMs.
B. No posting in dead threads with a useless post. Forum games can always be revived; 'do this' threads can also be revived. A good example of what not to do is posting 'c00l stUf lol!1' in a dead thread in the Graphics Suggestions board.
C. No multiple posting, use the edit button. It is acceptable to double post if you're adding new content later, like reviving an old thread because your level/graphics/whatever has been updated and such. It is also okay to 'bump' a thread that no one has responded to for some time.
D. Do not make a topic for something that already exists.
E. Signatures must not exceed 350px in height; this includes all images and text. A rule of thumb is that if the bottom of a blank post extends past your user info, your signature is too big.
F. One word posts, or just in general useless posts that contribute nothing, such as 'inb4lock' or 'lol' are considered spam and will result in warnings.
G. Please try your best to use proper spelling and grammar, you won't be banned, but you may become a general nuisance to the community.

4. Keep topics appropriate
A. Try to keep posts at a PG level, there are 10 year olds on this forum.
B. No discussion of how to execute illegal activities. There won't be a penalty for saying you pirated photoshop or downloaded music, just don't go around telling people how to do it. Breaking this rule results in two warnings.

5. Rules are there for a reason, Read them.
A. Do not ask for someone to pay for your chat, you will be banned without warning.
B. Read this topic before creating a topic in the Game suggestions forum.
C. Do not misuse the report system.

6. Warning System
A. Breaking any rule will yield one warning, unless otherwise noted.
B. 3 warnings - day ban
C. 4 warnings - week ban
D. 5 warnings - month ban
E. 6 warnings - permanent ban
Clauses: The staff reserves the right to remove content, warn and ban users at any time for any or no reason. These rules are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion, and are not liable for any user-submitted content.

Ben aardig - De Everybody Edits gemeenschap is er een samengesteld uit verschillende culturen, leeftijden, talen, gedachten, en ideeën. Alsjeblieft, ben respectvol tegenover je medespelers en vergeet niet dat er een mens aan de andere kant van het toetsenbord zit.
Spam niet - Niemand houdt ervan om nonsens of herhaalde posts te lezen, denk voor je op de 'submit' knop klikt.
Veiligheid - EE herbergt een wijde variatie van leeftijden, van onder 10 tot over 50. Wij bij EE hopen om onze leden te beschermen door spelers eraan te herinneren om op te passen dat informatie op dit forum publiekelijk is, en we zouden nooit persoonlijke informatie over onszelf in welke vorm dan ook moeten posten dat iemand een gelegenheid zou kunnen geven ons te vinden in het echte leven.

Specifieke regels (want sommigen van jullie willen dit zo):

1. Gebruik je gezonde verstand.
A. Vraag niet om een mod of admin te kunnen worden. Je zult meteen hiervoor worden geband. Vragen hoe je een mod **** worden is niet erg verstandig; iemand wordt een mod op het forum als de huidige personeel vindt dat ze nuttig en betrouwbaar zijn, op de tijd dat het forum een nieuwe moderator nodig heeft.
B. Je mag maar 1 account hebben op het forum
C. Geef geen persoonlijke informatie prijs, hiermee wordt ook bedoeld je adres, achternaam, geboortedatum, of wachtwoorden.

2. Scheld niet
A. Hiermee wordt ook bedoeld het zeggen van dat iemand anders zou moeten worden geband. Als iemand de regels breekt, rapporteer ze dan met behulp van het 'Report' knopje.
B. Dit telt niet negatief, als iemand dom is hoef je het niet te negeren. Negatieve kritiek hoeft niet meteen schelden te zijn.
C. Mods en admins bevelen om een topic te sluiten of een 'sticky' aan te vragen, zal je niet geven wat je wilt, en het kan zelfs eindigen in een of meerdere waarschuwingen.
D. Gebruik het Rapporteer systeem! Serieus, het werkt goed!

3. Spam niet.
A. Als je van het onderwerp af wilt wijken, gebruik dan een PM (private message)
B. Post niet in dode topics met een nutteloze post. Forum games zijn hierop een uitzondering, 'doe dit' threads zijn hierop ook een uitzondering. Een goed voorbeeld van wat je niet moet doen is het posten van 'c00l stUf lol!' in een dode thread in het Graphics Suggestions sub-forum.
C. Post niet vaker dan 1x, gebruik de Edit knop. Je mag dubbel posten als bijvoorbeeld iets nieuws aan een thread hebt toegevoegd, zoals nieuwe smileys, of levels. Je mag ook een thread 'bumpen', zolang het maar duidelijk is waarom dat gebeurt.
D. Maak geen topics voor iets wat al bestaat.
E. Signatures mogen niet hoger worden dan 350 pixels; hiermee wordt bedoeld alle afbeeldingen en tekst. Een ezelsbruggetje is, als je signature onder je user info uitkomt, dat ie dan te groot is.
F. Posts met maar 1 woord, zoals L0L en Inb4lock worden niet getolereerd en zullen gestraft worden met een of meerdere waarschuwingen.
G. Doe alsjeblieft je best om zo goed mogelijke grammatica en spelling in je posts te verwerken. Je zult er niet voor gewaarschuwd/geband te worden, maar je wordt er niet erg populair mee.

4. Houd topics netjes
A. Houd het een beetje op een kinder-niveau. Er zijn kinderen jonger dan 10 op dit forum.
B. Er mag niets gepost worden over illegale activiteiten. Het zal wel getolereerd worden als je zegt dat je photoshop of muziek illegaal hebt gedownload, maar vertel niemand hoe je het moet doen. Als je deze regel breekt, krijg je 2 waarschuwingen.

5. Regels zijn er voor een reden. Lees ze.
A. Vraag niet aan iemand te betalen voor je chat. Je zult zonder reden geband worden.
B. Lees deze topic voor je post in Game suggestions.
C. Misbruik het report systeem niet.

6. Waarschuwingssysteem
A. Als je een regel breekt, zal het je 1 waarschuwing opleveren, behalve als het anders is vermeld.
B. 3 waarschuwingen - dag ban
C. 4 waarschuwingen - week ban
D. 5 waarschuwingen - maand ban
E. 6 waarschuwingen - permanente ban
