Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Ok,so one of my ideas for the warning system is adding a 1 year ban. If it is added, the 1 year ban could teach a rule breaker the ultimate lesson. The warning system would look like this:
A. Breaking any rule will yield one warning, unless otherwise noted.
B. 3 warnings - day ban
C. 4 warnings - week ban
D. 5 warnings - month ban
E. 6 warnings-year ban
F. 7 warnings - permanent ban
Another idea is if someone has gotten perma-banned,a mod/admin could (if possible)ban said persons IP address, which could prevent them from making multiple accounts.
The last idea I had is to make and sticky a list of forum suggestions topic,so no one accidently posts a suggestion that has already been suggested.
So,what do you guys think? I don't expect my ideas to be added.
*sigh* It's worth a try. =1
I don't think we need a year ban - the forums haven't even been out for a year yet.
We already ban by IP.
There is already a list of suggestions (albeit not updated). Anyways, you can simply search the forum to see if your suggestion is already posted.
Actually, I like the idea of a year ban. People can mature a lot over the course of a year.

I feel like a year-long ban would have the same effect as a permaban; the banned user moves on and doesn't come back.
As Jakery has said, the user would probably forget about the game/forums and don't come back.
The rest has been said by Rugirok.
I feel no need for year ban. First, the mods will forget to unban them.
Second, The user banned for a year will forget about the forums SOMETIME in the 365-366 days.
Krazyman, mods don't manually unbar users. They set a date for the users to be unbanned and it happens automatically.

*Brain Short-circuits*
I agree with jakery about leaving and never coming back, but how about a 6 month ban? Would it have the same effect?
I think so.
1 year is almost perma, I guess. I don't think after a year: Oh yeah, now I'm unbanned. Let's be nice!

I agree with 1-year being nearly a perma. But 5 warnings is a month ban. Why can't 6 be a month and a week ban?
EDIT: For curious minds out-there, this wasn't gravedigging. Look at the dates proof. Only 2 days difference.

Errr... 1 month and a week? Then at least 4 months. That would be a nice one. Four months!

How about this?
1 warning: 1 second ban
2 warnings: 1 minute ban
3 warnings: 1 hour ban
4 warnings: 12 hour ban
5 warnings: 1 day ban
6 warnings: 3 day ban
7 warnings: 1 week ban
8 warnings: 2 week ban
9 warnings: 1 month ban
10 warnings: 3 month ban
11 warnings: 6 month ban
12 warnings: 9 month ban
13 warnings: 1 year ban
14 warnings: 25 year ban
15 warnings: 50 year ban
16 warnings: 75 year ban
17 warnings: 1 century ban
18 warnings: Perma-ban
I like this because it would be impossible to get to the perma-ban because you would be dead by then.
Waddya think
Yeah I know... It's stupid
