shop

from seeing/moderating other forumify forums, i know that there is a shop feature. i think that would be a good idea to implement on this forum. the items could be stuff like warning removal and free rep. whaddya think.

Yeah, it would be awesome to "buy" your own title but to get all of that money, we would have to post everything all over again because it doesn't count posts you made before it was put in.

Yeah, sounds nice, but not warning removal. This would just lead to spammers.

So how do you get the items for the shops? Just wondering.
Do you get 1 for every post? Then I'd have like 2800 of them xD

There's a cash mod system, where you get cash for posting, making topics, etc. IIRC, cyc hasn't implemented a tie between the cash mod and the shop, so buying things is manual (the mods have to detract cash and give you stuff). The lottery is quite fun to use, though
