Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Do mods have a secret forum to talk about stff they don't want to speak of public?
Every forum I have been a moderator on myself, there has been some sort of "secret forum" where mods can either ask questions or clarify rules.
I would be surprised if this one did not.

There's a secret Everybody Edits, too. It's "http://alpha.everybodyedits.com"
Only a select few can enter, though. :\
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Yes.
[lol]
It's actually far more active than all the other boards combined. We regularly share the latest member gossip, collaborate on hacking into the users' private email accounts, and decide who to gang up on with crap warnings and bans. The day I became a mod, the secret board changed my life.
[/lol]
The board is private, but I can't call it "secret" with a straight face. There's nothing juicy in there--it's just a knowledge base for moderation.
It's just a regular forum page, but the forum id is 10, IIRC.
I hate tall signatures.

Thought that was a joke until I type in the page XD
Yeah, there's always a private mod/admin board XD

I wish I could get in
Can you?
It's nothing special. I talk to Rurigok and Cyclone on Steam and Skype respectively anyways.
Skype is cool.
As for OP's question, I think any forums without mod forums would be really poorly executed. When you need to have a group discussion, it sure beats PMing all the time. I was a forum moderator on another forum that was very active, but the mod section was so dead it wasn't even funny. They tend to only be used when necessary.
Nope, if anyone tries to get in they get a bad link error.

Definitely. It doesn't necessarily even need to be a whole forum, even just a mod chatbox where info posted is viewable by all mods would be substantial.

^ Pssh, as if. We actually have 3 forums in the secret mod category.
Not really. Why do we still have the one dead one? imo that one shouldn't count

Do you have an entire mod category that's hidden from us?
Also, I'm assuming normal members just don't have the permissions to view those forums/subforums. I didn't know that hid it from us totally, as in 'not even in the index', does it?

Entire category is hidden, and last I checked members can't view it, even with the right forum id.
The mod section isn't used very often, but it is there for when we need it.
