How does my Self-created siggy look?

I made a sig using GIMP. I used a final fantasy render cause they look awesome. I searched through the net to see some tips for doing some etc. things there so I won't be confused. Type in my name and make a fire effect using the smudge button. Save it as .png then there you have it! My very first sig!

How does it look?

Not bad. The fire, though, is getting cut off at the bottom of the letters.

Not anymore. Fire is much more cooler than ice now. I wonder how can I change my avatar soon. It just don't go with the Sig :/

I'll fix the fire at the bottom.

You could add some more effects and some blurs and filters on the render.

My first sig wasn't all too good either, but I worked on it a good few weeks. It was also when I used Photobucket... uugh.

I made the text PIXEL BAI PIXEL.

I'll try to add effects on the render.

EDIT: I can't seem to make up my mind. Which looks cool? The first one or the second one, or the third one?

But don't overdo it with the effects.

Fire isn't cooler than ice. Fire burns ice and melts it. Then it's water, which doesn't make fire cooler than ice.

Color: I'd use the sponge tool on pixlr
Letters: Make a yellow "Jeremy" on the layer before it, and use a weak smudge tool on that. Like this:
