Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

we should have it enabled to use html in image posts instead of bbcode. bbcode is just , but with html, we can change the dimensions of our image and it will be easier to not break the signature limit.
<img src="url" "height"=x "width"=y>

Also with HTML you can screw up the page pretty bad which is why BBCode was invented in the first place/

How about you make a custom image to your preferred size so you don't:
A. break the limit
B. get the image distorted
C. break the page
?

I hate tall signatures.

Allowing users to use html on a forum is incredibly risky, due to the fact anyone could run scripts, destroy the page, and more. This is definitely never going to happen, fyi.
User-authored HTML = Security nightmare.
The convention on most Internet forums is to resize the image before posting it to the forum.
Lol yes I can then rickroll this hole forum xD (Not that I would lol)
HTML, this acronym for Hypertext Markup Language, is a markup language used to create web pages. The site's developers to use "HTML tags" in different parts of the file format. For example, you use HTML tags to specify headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, pictures and more.
Off Topic: The guy who posted above me only got 1 post and is perma banned. Epic <<<
On Topic: This will never happen, if it did I would just mess with the site (I won't harm the site, I'll just put some rickroll on it like BetaGuy said.).
BBCode was implemented as method of providing a safer and easier way of allowing posts to be formatted on forums. Before BBCode forums sometimes allowed users to include HTML code in their posts, which had many security issues (i.e. the user could execute javascript code, break the layout of the site and so on). With BBCode being parsed by the forum scripts it is easier to control what the user can do and can not do (allowing or not allowing specific BBCode tags).
