I find this ironic. I recall a reason for some mods to be chosen is because they had a lot of posts, whereas others didn't have much spam (yes, spam) and so they were considered not active enough.

^OMG! Does this guy have any brains?!? How would he come up with that idea? XD Especially with a lot of -rep, no one will take you seriously.

And I don't think we need new moderators because the ones we have are just fine. Sure, some people dislike them, but at least they are doing their job.

I think that a good active moderator can moderate about 400 users without any help. Currently we have 3571 users rounded to 3600. 3600/400 = 9

But then we have the part where pretty much half of the users on this forum are inactive. So 9/2= 4.5 rounded to 5. I think we have enough mods here.

Your numbers come into question when we realise that no mod is going to be online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Also, I think this is more about replacing certain mods with better people than just adding more.

Hey, so I feel kinda bad about making this topic now. I didn't mean to offend the other moderators, but I do think whoever made this forum should put some serious consideration into who is running them. I definitely think Chewy and Alex should be kicked because Chewy is, well to put it nicely, not really the fan favorite. And Alex has been absent for a long time. I think Different55 is ok, at least he is trying to be better. Bass5098 is a really nice person but I never see him mod much. But don't take my word for it because I don't look at the topic graveyard much to see who does what. Either way sorry if I sounded like an **** in that first post. :/

EDIT: And the only reason I am not deleting it is so I can hear other peoples opinions on the matter. It's always good to hear what others think too.

I don't think we need more moderators or different ones as of right now. If it ain't broke don't fix it, and I don't think any serious problems have come from any of us.

As for Chewy, I don't see why people dislike him. I think he's okay. TBH, I don't notice him much. He doesn't stand in my mind as much as some do, So I don't know if he even fulfills his role as moderator.

The only mods I've actually seen posts of are different55, rurigok (if I spelled that right), chewy, EDJ, rpgmaster2000, and Cyclone.

EDJ and rpgmaster2000 are completely fine.
Different 55 is, well...a rather average mod, between spam and flaming, at least.
Chewy is, well...quite annoying.
rurigok and cyclone? At least I've seen their posts, but I haven't read enough to talk about them.

same here. And honestly I like different55 he is funny and does a good job at modding. But I have a question...why do you guys dislike chewy? I see nothing wrong with him
