I'm too lazy to read the most recent posts, but guardians don't necessarily have to do only there job, they should have a sense of humor, or people would get bored of them and stuff. It's just not as fun.

Mrhoe is ignoring my replies on the blog and emails as it seems. He proved again to be most invaluable for the game and the community with again silly discissions. He was a much better developer when he was on vacations.

I wasn't suggesting he should be a guardian, just it's going to be difficult finding much childish stuff from him.

We'll in my opinion guardian is to abusive.
Solution can be more guardians to take a choice to ban a player.
1/2 guardians + 1 Should be faire.
And guardians should be player frandly so guardians should be chosen by people vots.

On topic - I've personally met all 4 of the current people on MrShoe's list, and although I don't talk to most of them a lot, I think all four are great people and will do an amazing job. I honestly don't see why everyone keeps complaining about them. I've been constantly seeing nasty comments aimed at Ultrabass, NVD, and JaWapa not just on the forums, but mainly in EE itself. I don't understand the point of this. None of them have done anything to prove that they would be bad at what they are being chosen for, so why all the negativity?
I fully support the choice that MrShoe made. By the way, Congratz Koto, JaWapa, Ultrabass, and NVD.

People are dreading what would happen if guardians were instated. I think this is most realistic:

Besides, this game can't get much worse. We're literally at the lowest of low, so I don't see how fighting against the moderation is gonna help. I agree guardians are not ideal in any way, but at least they are trying. I suppose I'm, as always, overly optimistic, but I also feel like many are bashing the candidates before they were even given a chance to prove themselves.
It's not like Julian/Brian are gonna care much about the general public anyways. When has this game ever really catered to the players? It's always been about what the moderators think is best, and I doubt that will ever change. We got lucky with moderators like Toby and RPGMaster2000, but their moderation is a thing of the past.
I think it's best to just to let whatever is going to happen, happen. EE is just a game, not real life.

JAWAPA we will see.

Nvd and Ultrabass are already mods in EE2. So I belive they can handle guardian.
EE2 is just a backup for our community. As new updates will come to EE, EE2 players will go back to the original.

EE2 is a "backup" for the community? EE2 is simply an illegal copy. Do you actually notice what is wrong with all the minors here? they have absolutly no clue about what they are talking about - hence the guardian program will also be a bunch of clueless people. Maybe there is an exception but that remains to be seen.

How does EE2 have anything to do with how NVD and Ultrabass are as people? If anything, their experiences with EE2 should be MORE of a reason to make them Guardians. They did a hell of a lot better job running that than Chris/MrShoe ever did on regular EE.

EE2 wasn't an illegal copy, they had permission from MrShoe/Brian to create EE2. There was a misunderstanding between them which resulted in them being asked to take EE2 down, which they did. MrShoe and Brian allowed them to bring it back up at one point to keep users busy during the long time period of no updates, they were told to bring it down again when they returned though.
