And also, to TakoMan02, about people like me and Gamer and stuff who have no posts in Forum Games and a high post count, it says a lot about activity because a lot of people with high post counts are constantly playing forum games, which is practically spam.
So you're saying someone who comes to the forums 5 times a day but only posts in forum games is inactive?
This is news to me.

As long as you get on at least once a day and stay here for at least 30 minutes, you're active. To be a good candidate for mod, you'd have to stay longer, but I think you get the gist of it.
I hate tall signatures.

Being an active poster is good but even someone who reports bad posts often and doesn't post as much has somewhat of a better chance.

I honestly don't think we need more mods on the forum. We have plenty of mods that get the job done. We don't need another, at least in my opinion.

For once in my life, I agree with Zoidy. Besides the occasional raid the forums are kept up pretty well.
And if there is a new moderator it shouldn't just be someone who is active, but someone who is always helping others, someone who is logical (not just smart), and someone who is well liked by the community.
Just sayin'

In my opinion, we need something new. Something to spice it up a bit. Get people to be more active. The forums are slow, we need something... Like a blast of rainbow. BAM. When I was like, "Holy crap why is my group on dA so inactive?" I thought, and then I said, 'CONTEST TIME.'
A new mod would fill the spot, but a contest for the forum itself would also do the trick. The mods we have are doing an OK job. We just need something to break the monotony.

I suggested we add a small uservoice button to Cyclone, but then he said "Ew, Uservoice." :c

heres my idea. we have elections for mod. each election, 2 mods are chosen to be mods for 2 weeks- 1 month. after that we elect 2 more mods. if a mod does good enough he can be reelected and eventually promoted to permanent mod.

we have contests all the time at fail.forumify.com. It helps to get new users or get the ones we have to post a little more. Usually we have contests to find a hidden message somewhere, but right now we're having one to see who can get the most active users to join.

Voting? This isn't a democracy. There's not that many people who we would make a mod. You guys always say get new mods, but who? Name 3 people who would be good and don't have a single warning.
