To: New members posting in color

I understand that you want to be original and stay away from the default, mainstream font that everybody's heard of (hipsters), but it's a bit annoying to try to read a post (on a black background, mind you) that's in color that doesn't contrast well, especially when it's dark (green, for example). If you want to add splashes of color into some of your post to accentuate some things, please do. If you're going to make your entire post a different color, I'd suggest a bright one that is as close to white as possible. Something like orange, hotpink, or skyblue would be excellent.

yeah, sometimes its kinda hard to read, and this kinda applies to gamingguy, he liked to post in dark red...+rep for making this.

I sort of agree. Colours are just getting abused and spammed. I don't even know what the colours were supposed to be used for. Probably just for indexing and emphasis. But I don't see that around now that much.

I think colors are a nice addition, so they shouldn't be totally removed. I do agree that they're being overused, though.

I agree to this. I find it annoying when people do that. I always assume that they are thinking "People are going to think I'm cool because I make all of my posts dark red"
