I've been on for every single one of them.

I recommend you are never on, when they happen, and if you are. GET OFF.
They aren't pretty. I've seen users say I want too see a raid!
Then they are almost hurling their lunches because of the disgusting things you see.

They happen often kinda now.

I'd be hard-pressed to say that the contents of past raids would've been so foreign to me. At least when people who experienced them describe them to me. Such is life in soviet /b/

Well, let's see, spam raids seem to be happening quite frequently. About once a week on those. And about once a month, as takodamn02 said, with the not-kid-friendly stuff. The best thing to do is get adblock and report.

1-2 a month, most are incredibly stupid and pointless, some are just plain sick.

also, there's some sort of protocol (if that's the right word...) where, in a raid, many people tell you to turn off the forum image - on option in the profile menu to prevent new users being driven away... works a treat ^_^

They happen like once every 1-2 months.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong on that one, because remember the Lady Gaga raid? The other 2 (or was it 3?) came at least 3 months after Gaga's, granted the past ones were like 2 days apart. So I've drawn up a conclusion: The Forum Raids Happen Whenever the Hell a Spammer Wants (or in short TFRHWTHASW)

(Please correct me if I got any of my facts wrong for you see I don't know this kind of junk I was only present for the Lady Gaga raid)

They aren't THAT bad, they probably could be worse, but tbh, I have a high tolerance level for seeing disgusting things.   I've only seen three happen.

I've only witnessed one, with TrollMaster, the "Maximum trolling" pucs and then the one with the w-*Puts hand over mouth* *cough* not pretty stuff.     

Anyways, I haven't been around enough to know how often raids happen.     Yet i've seen the ShellShock live forums be raided often and there aren't many active mods on them...
