I did this until everyone in MX started freaking out about the 3000th post in the thread and stuff. It was easier to see without entering the topic in the default, which I think is 30.

Yes, yes I did. You can also do some alt code to get the stars, but I felt like copying was so much easier.

Well, it's only 4 pages for me, but I have my page settings to 75 replies/page

I used to, but now I don't because no one else does.   It's always "20 pages this" and "10 pages that", and it was annoying seeing less than eight pages every time.
