Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Alright. We need a topic to talk about rep.
I have a couple questions and statements that are strictly opinion-based:
1) If someone suggests a good idea, they get +rep from many people. What if they make a bad suggestion? Can we -rep them?
2) The rep game. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: YOU DON'T ACTUALLY REP PEOPLE.
3) Is it right to justify other people's rep? For example, user_1 gives user_2 a pointless +rep, like "e". Then, user_3 comes along and gives user_2 a -REP to justify user_1's pointless +rep.
4) For admin/mods: how difficult is it to keep up with the "Removed trolled rep" thread? I'm just curious, because it gets updated less often than the game does.
5) Why do people feel obligated to -rep a moderator if they don't fit their standards? Seriously? Moderators aren't REQUIRED to explain themselves or be nice.
6) If you -rep the same person more than once, say 3 times in a short period of time, does that automatically make you biased? Should you just use 1 -rep for all your purposes?
k I'm done.

This isn't about me; feel free to ask, answer, or be opinionated to anyone.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

1. Why not, xD
2. Indeed, IKR
3.That's kinda stupid, imo.
4. Yeah, I think that is pretty much fair, But might causes people to get angry...
5.some of mine are pointless, so, No.
xD..
I got my 3 +reps form Linus21 removed.
1: i only got 1 +rep for my idea of colour-changing blocks and colour-coded doors... -.-
2: quite stupid, right? definite agree
3: dont quite understand...
4: i see what you mean, but what if none are related?
5: like ones from the +rep game? yes
also, did you make this topic because you have 219 reps? 1xd1
I immediately got 3 + reps as soon as I put my new signature up, XD. (well, soon after, that is)
^ 4 reps now xD
Buts thats not really what this topic is about.
Well, if I am correct it is to discuss anything about reps...
1.) To many will -rep ppl then, cause we have different opinions...
2.) IKR
3.) True, stupid
4.) Yes
5.) Yes
1. Same as Betaguy
2. I got a +rep from the rep game on another forum, but yeah that's stupid.
3. Yeah, stupid.
4. If it happens to me, no. If it happens to someone else, yes. Jk. Agreed.
5. Same as 4.
rep means nothing. nuff said.

rep means nothing. nuff said.
It definitely means SOMETHING, you just find it insignificant.
Although, it is indeed horribly misused.

it would mean something if it wasnt misused.

I find rep kind of pointless, but because I'm slightly paranoid, I like to keep my rep all green. So I turned it off. Another reason to why I turned it off was so that I could express my opinion on stuff more and get down to facts without whiny idiots rage down-repping me. I can't get it removed because that thread is for reasons that say stuff like 'adgadg', not for rep that has horribly bad reasoning.
Now, if that post was written in a confusing way, I don't care.

Since this is the rep topic, do you think my -rep should be removed? I didnt know you need https:// or whatever you need to make [img] work...
@#4:
I always do that. Or did. I haven't in a while since I'm enjoying no rep for a while.

I only give +rep when the post makes me laugh IRL. I probably won't ever give -rep.
i think chewy is a good example of rep being meaningless. we all know that he isnt hated that much. he just wants the rep. -repping chewy is what he wants, so people give him the rep for no reason.

1) If someone suggests a good idea, they get +rep from many people. What if they make a bad suggestion? Can we -rep them?
I would say no, unless it was some stupid suggestion they made without reading other topics first and it was already suggested.
2) The rep game. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: YOU DON'T ACTUALLY REP PEOPLE.
I think I had a -rep from that game once. Might or might not have been removed.
3) Is it right to justify other people's rep? For example, user_1 gives user_2 a pointless +rep, like "e". Then, user_3 comes along and gives user_2 a -REP to justify user_1's pointless +rep.
Some people are just too lazy to type their reason in, so no.
4) In the "remove trolled rep" section, when you remove a -rep, shouldn't you remove any +reps related to the -rep? For example, when someone troll -reps you, someone might feel sympathetic and +rep you to make up for it. When you get the -rep removed, the make-up +rep isn't needed anymore.
I don't know. Hmm good question. I'll stay indifferent.
5) Should pointless +reps be removed as well as pointless -reps?
No, for the reason I've stated earlier.
6) Why do people feel obligated to -rep a moderator if they don't fit their standards? Seriously? Moderators aren't REQUIRED to explain themselves or be nice.
k I'm done.
I don't know, that's weird. You don't hate people in real life if they aren't what you expect them to be, do you? Well you shouldn't

1. Of course.
2. Eyes, people.
3. Eh, that's not needed.
4. I guess so.
5. Only for Chewy.
6. ?
Some people, like myself, know that the rep game is not actually for repping, but do it anyway.
Answering begins in T Minus 10...9...etc.
1) If someone suggests a good idea, they get +rep from many people. What if they make a bad suggestion? Can we -rep them?
Well no, because they were still just trying to improve the game, just like anyone else. Unless it's spam, in which case it's okay.
2) The rep game. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: YOU DON'T ACTUALLY REP PEOPLE.
YES THIS SO MUCH THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS
3) Is it right to justify other people's rep? For example, user_1 gives user_2 a pointless +rep, like "e". Then, user_3 comes along and gives user_2 a -REP to justify user_1's pointless +rep.
Nope. Most +rep has a reason, whether stated or not. EX: I might make a good level and post it. You comment, "Nice level, +repping". And the reason for your rep is "e". You and I know that it was for the level, therefore it has a reason, whether user_3 can see it or not.
If the -rep gets deleted and the sympa-repper wants to get rid of his +rep, he can ask on the remove rep thing.
5) Should pointless +reps be removed as well as pointless -reps?
No. See number three.
6) Why do people feel obligated to -rep a moderator if they don't fit their standards? Seriously? Moderators aren't REQUIRED to explain themselves or be nice.
I would never -rep a moderator for doing their job, but if they were calling people d-bags or giving pointless warnings/bans, I would. And they should explain themselves, it's professional.

1) i guess so...
