You have a wall of text. You have a giant image. You're giving out a huge spoiler.
Spoiler tags are needed. It should work like

hidden message here

and look a bit like The spoiler tags here.
Can we please have spoiler tags?

As far as "huge wall of text" goes, did you forget about

the quote tag?

What about large pictures? I have like 10 pictures I want to post but I don't want to clog up a page with them. With spoiler tags we can shrink page sizes.

Maybe this is gravedig. But we need spoilers because there are some things that other people don't want to see and you can't hide it with just the "black colour tag" like images or links...
Also not everyone knows that thing with the black... (including me)

Hm, I wonder how long that link in the first post has been broken. And the page missing.

Still relevant, even a year later. Go figure. Shame that all good ideas like this end this way. Forgotten and deemed unnecessary.

I know it's an old topic, but I was going to suggest this.
Spoiler tags are really usefull. You can hide pictures and make the forum easier to read, you can talk about anything and not censor yourself when it comes to movies / books / games spoiler,   you can write huge walls of text and hide them without replacing them with "<snip>" when you quote them.

So I'm suggesting this again, Cyclone. "plzplzaddthemplz"

Bump.   I think we REALLY need these.   I'm sure everyone's been on one of those topics that's just one wall after another.   Also, it'd be good for going off-topic within on-topic posts.   We'd also need the ability to name the spoiler, like you can a quote.   As in,

[spoiler=lolol]Text within spoiler[/spoiler]

would result in

LOLOL

And then you click it to show the text.
