Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hello Forums! Today I'll teach you how to be a Surveyor in a just a week (obeying all the rules)! It sounds like A LOT of posting, but it's really not.
REQUIREMENTS: spare time, continuous Internet access and dedication!
MY MATH: So, on the forums there are 5 categories, and 18 sub-categories. And in order to be a surveyor you need to have 500 posts.
> 18 sub-categories divided by 500 is 28 posts per sub-category.
> 28 posts divided by 7 days in a week is 4 posts per sub-category per day.
PLAN: To be a surveyor in a week, you must do the following everyday:
> Wake up early, get ready for work or school or whatever. With your spare time, go to each subcategory and post a QUALITY comment on any of the posts. Spamming useless comments is against the rules and you will get banned.
> Get home from your job/school. Post a QUALITY comment in each subcategory.
> Depending on when you got home, wait a few hours and repeat the last step (before dinner works)
> Right before you go to bed, post a QUALITY comment in each subcategory, any post.
> Do this everyday until a week passes.
> If you want to speed up the process and become a Designer or possibly Urban Planner in a week, you can do this:
1. Click "show new posts since last visit". Visit every page, opening all threads that look interesting. With 3-5 pages a day, 20 threads there, assume you pick about 7 from them. That's 21-35 posts a day! Alternatively, you could open all of them and post one comment in all (unless it's a gravedug thread), ad that's 60-100 posts a day, and that's just an average day! (I don't think this forum even has slow days)
2. Go to forum games, play the ones that look interesting. Try to respond multiple times a day. Most only require you to post a couple of words, maybe a sentence. That's not much work, and you get your post count up.
Congratulations! You're a surveyor! If you started as a builder, you'll be a designer; If you started as a plumber, you'll be an Urban Planner! Use the list above to depict were you'll be.
IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! I can't stress this enough, post QUALITY comments! I'd hate to see you get banned because you didn't follow this simple rule! Poor-quality comments look like this:
"Nice level." "Nice art." "You're cool." ":)." ":P." "I like pie." "You're dumb." DON'T post these! Post things like this:
"I love your art, but the tree is completely messed up."

Okay, Is this based on my epicness? *taps foot*
Because you know it is.

Forum ranks = Society likes to judge people off of outward appearances, so when they see your username next to urban planner they'll think: this guy is really experienced. If they see builder next to their name, they'll think that the person has no experience at all. If you have less experience, you won't be respected. If you have less experience, you won't get very much reps. And it doesn't matter if it's important or not. Some people just like seeing the name "Surveyor" next to their name.
This guide is very useful

This.
Post when you have something worthwhile to say, otherwise don't.
Lots of older members that I respect have a relatively low post count in the scheme of things, and I revere them much here than all of you people that post with as much borderline spam as possible.
Stop asking to be sickied, and stock color bombing, please.
For instance, I am obviously Alex's favorite forum member.

This guide is useless, also you don't need to do this for Surveyor.

1) No need to be rude.
2) This isn't a guide how to post comments. If you want a guaranteed way to become a surveyor in a week, this is the guide.
3) The color was just to get people's attention to the "do not troll" rule, as requested by Different.
4) It's not like I'm always asking to have stickies. The only other time I asked for a sticky, I got it.
5) It's mainly directed at newbies/recruits. If a newbie/recruit says this is a terrible guide, I'll delete it.
I DO see what you're talking about. You don't need a guide to tell you to post. However, this isn't a guide. I don't believe I said the word "guide" in this. It's a plan.
Alex, karim, and KRAZYMAN50, please stop focusing on the posting part, and focus on the when to post.

Uh... maybe...
Now that you said that it makes me think you're going to go make an account saying you're new and say it's a terrible post

Nice guide. Maybe, it is better to just go in topic and post in every topic (except when gravedigging and get banned.

This plan is very useful, I think many people will see this and use it, since it makes getting there seem easier than posting in random threads.
A couple pieces of advice I'd like to see added to the plan:
Feel free to shorten if you use them :3
