Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING
These are the rules to do the above: post whilst being respected and listened to. It is very simple, just five rules and one suggestion.
1. SPELLING
So simple. Just spell correctly. There should be squiggly red lines under words you misspell if you're not using Internet Explorer (see item six). Just take less than a minute before each post to make sure all of your words are spelled correctly. Experienced forumers almost don't hate anything more than seeing "omglol teh levl si so awsom becuas i baet ti". Almost...
2. GRAMMAR
This is even more simple. Just use a basic subject-predicate sentence structure. Don't say things like "I played level and good", say "I played the level and it was good". If you really have a hard time with this, splurge a bit and buy Word. Write your posts in there first, and if you see green squiggly lines under sentences, find out why and fix it. Also, the most annoying thing EVER: DON'T CONFUSE THEN AND THAN; TO, TOO AND TWO; OR ANY OTHER HETEROGRAPHS. Then relates to time, than is a comparison. To describes motion, too means "in addition", and two is a number. Also, Don't Capitalize Every Word In Every Sentence. for that matter, you shouldn't lowercase every word either. Also, spell out numbers ten and under. I know most people don't do it, but they should. It's the proper thing to do.
3. POST ON-TOPIC (suggested by Panic)
The second easiest of all. If the topic says, "Hey, how do you complete The Fall Of Heracles?", don't turn it into mayonnaise versus Miracle Whip.
4. FOLLOW THE RULES (suggested by Panic)
The easiest thing that no one does. You can find them here, and they aren't long at all. If you have any warnings, read them before you get more warnings or worse.
5. DON'T USE TOO MANY USELESS COLORS (suggested by Nou)
That pretty much explains itself. Ifyoutalklikethis,it'shardertoreadandpeoplewillthinkyouaredumb.
6. DON'T OVERUSE ACRONYMS OR EXCLAMATION POINTS
So easy. Just don't make posts using more than three or four acronyms and no sentences with more than one exclamation point. I've compiled a small, unfinished list of acronyms that are overused and fine.
OVERUSED
LOL (laugh/laughing out loud) or RO(T)FL (rolling on the floor laughing) (most overused)
OMG (oh my God)
WTF (what the f*ck) (alright in chat, not in posts)
J/K (just kidding)
ALRIGHT TO USE
TMI (too much information)
FWIW (for what it's worth)
IM(H)O (in my [humble] opinion)
For instance, you can say, "FWIW, you're wrong" but not, "OMGLOL u sux0rz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
7. DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER (optional)
This one doesn't have to be done, but if you do, you will go up just a tiny bit in the IQ scale. Please, just try one of these great browsers:
Download Mozilla Firefox
Download Google Chrome
Download Apple Safari (don't be fooled, it's for Macs AND PCs)
Download Opera
That's about it, reply if I missed anything.

Add: Follow the rules and post on-topic. Otherwise, it's not too bad.
The sad thing is, we actually need people to read these things.
Obligatory piece of text placed here forcing you to load an extra 100 bytes of data per post I make.

There is no red lines for mine,
Why are you so much of a spelling freak, I mean, I pm you and I misspelled a word big woop you want to fight about it?
We're not freaking out about you spelling poorly, we're just saying that when you don't use spelling or grammar it chops your IQ in half.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Or it either means that you have dyslexia. Or that you don't speak English very well because you're not English.
You mean like this topic; "my pokeomon black friend code". No capital letters, some misspells, and looks dull. Where are the pictures?
Well, pictures aren't necessary, but they keep people reading sometimes.
@Wezza: Well, if you're dyslexic or foreign, then do what most do and put a little notice in your signature. Doesn't have to be long either. Just a simple "I am foreign, please let me know if I misspell anything." I've seen people do it.
@Everyone: In QChat Zoey2070 said she'd marry me because of this. Me and ELJASO set it up but she had to go at the last minute. :'-?(

I'm dyslexic and foreign, but I don't want to be treated an other way because of it. Thats why I don't put a notice in my signature. Most people already know this probably.

Well yeah, but this is mainly for newbies. And why would you be threatened?
Oops I ment treated
I love how you made the title capitalizing all the words, while you said not to do this in the guide. But otherwise, good guide. Might help many people.
^LOL yeah. The to, a, and of need to be uncapitalised, and maybe the not.
Take out the red squiggly line part, most nubs use IE, which doesn't have spell check.
Everything except the first word needs to be uncapitalized, from what I learned in school.

But most noobs DO use it. It's non-scientifically proven. Most non-noobs use FF or GC.
But why?

And all pros use Opera.
Nice guide, I'm not always using correct grammar, because I'm foreign, but I always try to, I leave a note when I'm not sure if i used correct grammar.

I have used Opera, but if I clicked a link it didn't open properly (first the thing pops up: go to startpage, quickchooser, and that kinda stuff), so now I'm using Chrome.

^ If it works right, Opera is awesome.

Well, most people use Windows, and the standard Windows browser is IE, and noobs don't change it.
I've used IE for some time, you can browse well with it, but there are better browsers.
