Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?
You are not logged in.
Or stop caring about rep and tadaa everything is fixed.
this
I find it really funny calculusguy about you suggesting about stopping hit and run reps, yet you are the one mainly doing it to a bunch of people.
Rep should just be disabled completely. Why should we care about the little number that hides beneath our post count? Because it's pretty? Great answer.
Half good idea, but somethings to notice:
and it's important to cater to everyone.
nNG wrote:http://eeforumify.com/viewtopic.php?pid=256227#p256227: Why rep is good.
Should explain it all, or at least most.
EDIT: Someone deleted it It basicly said that rep gets noobs to test levels when the others don't.
It also gets noobs to become even nooblier.
When a noob sees a pro with high rep, he may enter his level, then ragequit.
When a noob sees a noob with high rep, he may enter his level, and fall in love with it.
When a noob identifies with a noob he will +rep the noob, and go noobing elsewhere.
When a noob gets high rep from other noobs, he'll assume he's pro.
When a noob sees a pro acting pro, he will -rep him.
So why can't the mods "cater to everyone" by eliminating the main source of grief: rep?
Noobs will get angry? <<Thats my main theory.
At fail forums(fwin.co.cc) there is no rep... just awards that are given by the admins...[/advertisement]
I think it is important to cater to everyone, but the rep is absolutely pointless, and what if the other person doesn't care about rep, but cares about annoying people, and knows you care about rep? That person would -rep and not care if you revenge rep or not.

Ontopic: Well, finally a topic of mine thats not spammy.
Why... this is what I don't even. This is like people who troll your level. You hate it, but there's nothing you can do other than suck it up.
Your solution is just a nuisance to people who really do want to rep "correctly" -- why fix the 3 people on the forum that "rep hit-and-run" by wasting the time of everyone else?
Convince me that people who turn their rep on, -rep you, and turn their rep off is 1) a bad thing and 2) important enough to waste 45 minutes of people's repping time, please.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

...The second one is only for double trolling, while the first one is the anti-HaR.

!= means not equal, the ! is supposed to be a slash.
!= means not equal in php and mirc and a lot of scripting languages.

offtopic and sarcasm:
Don't make fun of a group you're in. If you're in a noob group, at least stick with it
ontopic:
Anyway, I don't think people work that way. Yes, they might like an easier level more, because they can win it.
But as they play the game more, and longer, they will get better, and start disliking it.
Finally, I don't mind the reputation, I couldn't care less. I'll go with nou for this one.
Exactly what are reps for? I think it does nothing but reosons of +reps gave an answeer or you being nice. -reps are the opposites of those or anything else or just no reason of -reping just dont like that person
I are back.

reps are for nothing. You'll be happier if you ignore them or use them as feedback.
