Crews?

I find it kind of strange to see that almost every crew is called 'x' "crew". This not only because it leaks original content, but also because seemingly everyone follows the most known "crews". I know that this sort topic already has been made, but to picture out the point I want to make, I'll start below.

Sub-forums, an indicate for you where to post your topic. But when you click on the sub-forum "groups" you'll end up in a huge list of "crews". This is why I suggest to change the name of this sub-forum in to "crews" instead of "groups".

Whats your view on this point?

Crew has become a generic term on EE for group/team/bunch of people making stuff together. Call it what you like, people will still refer to it as your crew.

I'm thinking of starting a Rabble.

Uh, yeah, you're not the first ones, sorry.

"Crew" is used most often because EX crew was the first crew, and they were really popular. They influenced others, and so the majority made "crews." However, some people choose "team," "co.," "group," etc.

Anyway, that's not exactly what you asked. My question is why bother changing it? Crew = group.

Well, I don't really bother, but it's just the point that changing it into "crews" would make more sense then "groups".
