Guise, I'm a mod.

Don't fall out of your chairs.

However, I feel that I may not initially operate on the same level as some of the pre-existing mods (namely Different/Chewy).
Let's not **** here. If I'm doing something wrong, tell me about it. I won't bite (or warn/ban you), and it'll make me better.

And no, this isn't aimed at the staff, it's aimed at you members. I'm moderating you, not them.

I don't know why but I feel unstable with some of the new moderators (I'm all-right with Bee).

Anyway, what happened to the Minecraft group that you made?
I joined, made a skin for the group but haven't heard since.

Perhaps you should tell us why so we could not do some of the things you fear.
That's more towards newer posters, since you "don't know why".

Anyway, what happened to the Minecraft group that you made?
I joined, made a skin for the group but haven't heard since.

That'd be best left to a PM, 79 warnings issued.
Nobody's active on biomecraft except a3 and Zoey, and even if they were, we wouldn't have anything to do.

Hmmm. I nearly did fall out of my chair, but I was sitting precariously close to the edge anyway, so that's nothing new.
Here's a few general things I'd like to see from ya'll mods: (lol I just said ya'll)

1, actually read the reports and respond accordingly and don't trust that the reporter is always right, like don't disable a sig without checking it's size just because someone said it was too big. Actually make sure it is.
2, kindly move locked threads to graveyard, they be ugly.
3, don't let the power get to you.
4, stay active & communicate.
5, give me your password.

This so much. I hate when I see locked threads cluttering up the list when we have a graveyard >.<
I always get tempted to report them, but it'd be a waste.

Please do. I made quite the mistake day 1 and the one or two threads I locked I failed to move to the graveyard. In any case, you won't get warned for abuse (because it's not abuse), so please do report such threads.

Sorry, I disagree with you on that m'dear.

Reports should be something urgent that needs attention.

Besides, sometimes it is good to leave a locked thread in the forum it was in because it leads by example. If someone comes to post about how nub Bee is, but sees there are already 4 locked threads about the topic, they will be less likely to post about it.

If you don't like a locked thread on the front page, simply bump up a thread from page two by responding to it. If you have nothing to say on any of the recent threads, then they are as useless as locked threads, so there is little difference.

But the point of the topic graveyard is to, you know, contain the locked topics.

I understand about the reports part, but locked topics definitely need to be in the topic graveyard.

Hmmmm.... without a warning or a ban...

You're a terrible mod for not making me a mod. Jk. I'll probably ruin the forums due to the lack of my forumify powers.
I don't like this sudden boost in activity since moderiseation.

I like looking at the locked threads for epic lulz. But if it's locked but not in the graveyard I won't read it and get my daily lol.

Nope. Anything that is borderline offensive or against the rules ought to be reported, in my opinion, not just when some nub starts a forum raid with inappropriate content. That's (mostly) exaggerating, but you get my point. If you don't feel like sifting through the reports, then leave.

Make sure to follow the rules and you'll be fine. If you weren't getting banned before, you won't be getting banned now.
