Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?
You are not logged in.
You cannot view pictures when all mods are offline. But that's not the reason I came here at all.
I would quit the forums. This would be obnoxious.
Ignore should do it. Along with Jakery's Flag post idea, once it gets enough flags, nobody can view it till mods review it.
Maybe you should change the time between posts to 5 or maybe 10 minutes when no mods/admins are online.
EDIT: Maybe 3 minutes is better. I post about once every 3 minutes when im on the forum.

And still the question remains.. What is being done about this?

Nothing, the raids have stopped (I think)
Wrong, we are taking action to prevent further raids.
Ok, that's good, and what actions?
We've been asking that question for three pages, I don't think they want to respond to it
I know he's building a proxy scanner, that of course will eliminate multiple accounts. One forum troll per user.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Let's brainstorm some ideas to protect against forum raids.
*BRAINSTORMING*
BRAINSTORM:
- Jakery's flagging idea.
- If something gets reported or flagged under something containing the word "raid", it gets hidden automatically by the server until a mod reviews it.
- Secure ignoring feature.
- Using the powerful censoring system, censor all of the images via censoring the tag content. I think this is a good idea.
- Use a captcha if you post more than 4 times over a very short period. I think this is a good idea aswell.
- Add brainstorming ideas to this list and use them.
*END BRAINSTORM*
Not many, but 3-4 of my 5-6 ideas are my own.
I think you should add a "raid" option when reporting a post, and that post is automatically temporarily deleted. If it is abused, it is an automatic ban as well.
I still think this is the best option for when there are no mods.

Make a captcha for every post with images. I wouldn't mind captcha-ing.
rdococ, your idea that says [- Using the powerful censoring system, censor all of the images via censoring the tag content.] Would be easily bypassed by saving the image to your computer and re-uploading it. But I guess it's an option, if deh 'dmins can figure it out.

captcha only works on spam bots chimi. trolls can still type.

Hey, every little bit helps. Do that, and we have no more spam bots. Not that we had any to begin with, but...
I wonder if there's a program that can delete all images found on inappropriate sites.
For instance, if ebay was an extremely inappropriate place, it would be blocked by most child locks. Somehow get access to that list of all inappropriate sites, and store all it's pictures for auto-removal.
If this were to take place, I would not be able to post the following pictures:
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

One problem, there is way too many inappropriate content on the internet and you can bypass it easily,

just upload your inappropriate content onto a photo sharing site and there you go.

What are "forum Raids"? I hear yall talking about inappropriate pictures, so I guess that has something to do with it.
More then just that. Spamming random stuff in tons of topics. Posts full of jibberish. Post full of cussing with nothing to do with the topic. Those are other type of raids.
So now we're allowed to make posts full of "jibberish"? I think that is a bad idea and will ruin the forum. I don't want to make forum raids. Who decided it would be a good idea to allow this?
?
this isn't allowed AT ALL

Linus is back. We NEED some sort of contingency plan, because this is going to keep happening.
