I have a question for the admins:

What are we doing to stop this? I hope what we're doing now isn't acceptable.

What was it? 45 minutes? Obviously what we're doing now isn't very good. More mods? What if none are online yet again? Another raid. The spammer could be right under our noses, just waiting until all the mods are offline. Then the forum is his.

My suggestion still remains ignored: not allowing people to post when no mods are online. You can recruit more mods, but even on the rare occasion that all the mods are offline, people shouldn't be able to post. It's like putting a bunch of kids in a room with a bunch of spray paint. It's asking for trouble.

the op here should have a list of all troll raids and all of their names. off the top of my head i think twipplysucks, the inappropriate content raid with chatunlocker and a whole lot more people, penisis4vagina, and plack people suck.

PErhaps, if a post is reported by a certain number of people, then noone can look at that post, or posts by that person,   until an admin comes by?

@KingOfTheOzone if someone's post is reported under something such as "Raid" then it gets   hidden? Just trying to extend your idea.

i say we have a few people who can hide posts from nonmods, but the real mods can see if the pic needs to be hidden or should stay.

...or we could prevent new members from posting that much, that soon.   So far, all the raids have been done with new accounts, and older accounts are less likly to raid the forums.

1: Possibly more mods
2: Enforce 1 minute delay between posts
3: Email notification for reports to mods
4: Make people aware of the report button more

I realise 4 doesn't necessarily help in situations where there is no mod on, but it does help them trace the posts and allows for easier clean up.

Forum raids happen everywhere, you can't see them coming or prevent them I'm afraid. Acting quickly is all you can do.

I think you should add a "raid" option when reporting a post, and that post is automatically temporarily deleted. If it is abused, it is an automatic ban as well.
