Signiture height?

So a picture in my sig got dropped because it was too high. Why didn't the other one get dropped then? I thought the limit was 300 pixels. The dropped one was 275, and the one remaining is 239.

Signature height was 400px at one point, and some below that of mine were removed. However, I think it might've went down. I don't think mods pay too much attention to the height, and if it looks like 300+ px they remove it. At least that's how it seems.

The limit is still and for the forseeable future will be 300px.

The images stack on some screens, and that stacking makes the signature ~510 pixels.

As long as I've been a mod, the limit has been 300px.

We don't (or at least I don't) remove things unless they are obviously over the limit. If it's too close to judge accurately, I check image height or I get out the interwebs measuring stick and measure all them pixels.

While I wasn't the one who handled the signature (it's pretty known that I have them disabled), judging by the dimensions they would have stacked on a 1024x768 screen.

And we don't remove the image, we will just keep the link to the image.   If one image still meets the guidelines and appears to be the primary one, we will keep it up.   As long as the height remains at 300 or below, at least.

If the signature is over 300px for anyone, it is removed regardless of what you see personally.

I see. Thanks for the clarification, I'll try shrinking them down. Let me know if it's still too high.
