Bring rep back?

I saw some peoples asking for bring rep back, so, i made this topic for you tell your opinion about rep. There 6 options:

A) Bring back reputation system how ever was. (3 votes)
B) Block reputation system of certain members. (1 vote)
C) Dont bring back reputation system. (0 votes)
D) Bring back a modified version of the reputation where + and - are removed, leaving only text. (3 votes)
E) Bring back reputation system, but only can +rep. (2 votes)
F) You rate someone 1-5 stars. (1 vote)
G) +rep and -rep for each individual post, and a cumulative rep on side which is just a number
This would mean that trollish/rude posts would be negatively voted on (and might have the option to hide/show such comments) and good posts would have positive scores. (1 vote)

How about bringing back the reputation system allowing ONLY + reps, therfore whoever wants to give some credit to someone is free to do so while those who just want to offend (because that's what actually happends in most - reps) will do better trying a more pleasant way to comunicate or better ignore the thread or person they hate, desagree, etc

How about bringing back the reputation system allowing ONLY + reps, therfore whoever wants to give some credit to someone is free to do so while those who just want to offend (because that's what actually happends in most - reps) will do better trying a more pleasant way to comunicate or better ignore the thread or person they hate, desagree, etc

If there's only +reps, then there might as well be no reps, just text, because the + would lose all the non-existant meaning it once had.

I think it's better to rate a post and leave that rating on that post alone, rather than adding it to a person's whole reputation.

I vote for:
D) Bring back a modified version of the reputation where + and - are removed, leaving only text.
I think it would cause less havoc, because you don't have to worry about spam/unfair -reps, as you can just ignore them, and it doesn't add to your reputation at all. I think it's the best option, personally.

I'd like to have the reputation system with + and - or with + only, because the reputation shows who are probably the ones who you can belive when they say something, and they know a lot about EE or how to be a good member of the forums. I think reputation isn't only feedback for you, but other people can also see if you are a good guy

I'm not really sure are there a lot of problems with the -reps, so I'd vote for A.

^nope. Rep isn't any sort of even half-decent way of judging character. There are plenty of good forum members with only ~20 reputation, and having it makes the new people just want lots and lots of rep and causes lots of unnecessary, unproductive drama when "HE -REPPED ME DIS MEENS WAR"
