Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

SERIOUSLY valid.
Yeah, this needed to stop before it happened. Don't continue it.
I had nothing to do with Mousey posting that so...

And fido, I still don't understand... I see you posting irrelevant and useless stuff all the time... If you have a problem with someone derailing your topics, then report them.

but you're not supposed to report moderators
True, but you need to make sure they're actually breaking a rule. I can't tell you how many times I've been reported for a rule that wasn't actually being broken. Read the rules to double check before wasting our time. For that matter, do that whenever you report anyone. Save us some time.

Yeah I reported you :/
and out of curiosity, how are the reports on admins/mods handled? because the admins have the ability to read the reports made on them and "take care of them"

They're handled the same as any other reports. The report system just shows us a link to the post that was reported, who reported it, when it was reported, and the message given when they reported it, and does that for every post reported regardless of anything. Except if it gets deleted. If the post is deleted, it tells us.

But like when I reported you for something, I think you were the one who answered it... If I reported Atilla for flaming, then Atilla could delete the report as if (s)he never done anything...

The last 10 "zapped" reports are listed on the page. Reports are never deleted, just hidden.

Although admins cannot be banned it does show that they have the warnings and their title changes to banned.

So what your saying is that the admins can do whatever they want on here and not get banned. I see it that if the admins can't fallow the rules then they can't enforce them and they shouldn't b an admin...

Woah woah woah... Let's not get too "Occupy Wall Street" here - the admins are reasonable people. If someone reports one of their posts, they'll check it out and probably consider whether they acted poorly and then try not to it again. Besides, there's enough of them that if one of them decides not to follow the rules, the others can tell them off.

We have no obligation here, I paid around $50 this month alone to keep this forum up and have probably spend $200 so far. I get no ad revenue. The other mods have spend countless hours on this.
I understand that they are human and they will make mistakes from time to time, but if they can control the reports against them then they can do whatever they want on here... I also understand that they have spent hours on hours working on it, but that shouldn't give them the right to enforce rules that they don't need to follow. If that's the case then admins and mods will be derailing threads all the time and flaming people All the time...

The fact that we aren't running around flaming and derailing should tell you something, then.

I'm not saying you were... what I'm saying is if a mod derails the thread and gets reported for it then they can read the report and handle it itself... so if I reported atilla for going off topic then atilla could see the report before other mods do and get rid of the report as if (s)he never done anything wrong, thus they never get warned for it, and thus can do whatever they want on the forum,s

Yes mods can do what ever they want. They're mods for reason, I.e. they can be trusted not to.

Nope. As I said, reports are never deleted. The last 10 reports are visible from the mod panel. In order to cover it up, he'd have to produce at least 10 other reports and then zap them. Even if reports were gone forever after zapping them, the offending post would still exist, and another mod would stumble on it, and deal with it directly. Posts don't need to be reported for us to do something about it.
And, as Meredith said, mods are mods because they can be trusted not to take advantage of their power. Anyone who can't be trusted won't be a mod for much longer.
