Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This is a false statement.

Make your own minigames, that's how you learn.
Explore concepts you never thought of.

This i agree, you have to make your own minigames, when most you make, better you become.

A bit broad...
But I however agree with Fdoou
Best to learn yourself, for future use and just so it's easier.

That's what I do. Create concepts nobody even heard about… and then what happens? Everyone hates the minis. The Void probably has the best minis I made, but I just don't know/can't make mini games out in the open. I need step-by-step directions, practices et cetera.

Well, I find using yourself as a reference, testing em, seeing whether other people like it, then working on with that works fine. But, if a tutor is how you feel it would help your mini making skills, then that's your choice to make, and I give you good luck on finding a tutor, and on your future minis

Thanks!
One favor though: Don't get anyone who makes boxed minis.
One way that can help you learn how to make minis, is make minis for a world with lots of art on it, like actual art and the world has all the same theme and is good, which by what ive seen from you is pretty common. Then just make a path for the players that they are forced to take and try to build minis based on the landscape in that general area, for example if there is a tiny crevice that doesn't lead anywhere you may have arrows pushing you out of that area and you have to build up speed to get in to maybe recieve a coin or blue coin.

There are plenty of tutorials in Level Creation, including a brilliant one by EX Crew called "Guide: Designing Challenges" (posted by Nou).
