inconsistent check marks

so check marks appear when you haven't read a post, and they go away afterwards

i have been seeing a lot of inconsistencies, for example check marks appearing regarding my last post, posts I already read and saw the checkmark removed

is this an issue about something on my side?

It's seems fine for me, I think if you read across devices it does tend to mess up.

Do you press back rather than clicking on the previous page (the links below the last poster (clicking those will fix everything)

nope i dont use back button, it's usually when i close all my forum tabs, do something else, and check back again

^ happens to me too, although when i do use the back button i realize and try to fix it
i think some thread mentioned something about it technically checking every 5 minutes for new posts

this bug often counts posts that I made as "unread"

now i've got checks on 2/3s of the subforums and when i click on them i get "there have been no new posts since you have left"
